Over a year in the making, I have been chipping away at this for a long time and true labour of love.
Ive always loved listening to the shipping forecast, even though I'm never on the sea! The thought of these places conjured up all sorts of imagined other worlds with storms gales and something rising.
I cold not find any map other than basic functional ones, certaily not ones you would have on show....so I made one.
Calligraphy and art with words is my first artistic love and what I did most as a teenager... so this was a joy to make.
I hope it gives others who love the shipping forecast as much joy as it does me :)
These ate 14 x 19 cm submitted ( glazed) onto slate and come gift boxed.
